BEACON OF HOPE HOSTS CREATION SEMINAR WITH AUTHOR JAY SEEGERT

Saturday, May 17, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Beacon of Hope will host "Origins: Fact, Fiction, and Faith" seminar in the Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at Landmark Center on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Free and open to the public, the event provides insight and critical thought concerning the origin of the universe. Presented by lecturer and author Jay Seegert, the seminar discusses various ideas on origin and deals with the facts, the fiction and the role of faith in answering such ultimate questions. "Where do we come from? What are we? And where are we going? These three vital questions were written by the French artist Paul Gauguin on the canvas of his famous painting," said Beacon of Hope Pastor Stephen Lonetti. "These are the questions all thinking people ask themselves at one time or another--but they inevitably begin with origin." Please reply your attendance and register online at http://www.beaconforthecity.org/seminar. For further information or inquiry, contact event coordinator Jake Tromburg at 651-964-0775 or jtromburg@beaconforthecity.org.
