(Denver, CO) -- Colorado will now tack an excise and sales tax onto recreational marijuana sales after a state ballot measure passed. The measure is expected to bring in 67-million dollars a year for Colorado. Colorado's 51st state proposition passed in five counties, but the measure failed in counties with big population centers. And Washington voters rejected a statewide initiative to require genetically-engineered foods to be labeled as such.
