(Minneapolis, MN) -- More rate hikes are on the way for the state's largest electric utility. Xcel Energy is asking for single-digit rate hikes in each of the next two years, with more possibly down the road. Regulators are being asked to improve an increase of 291-million dollars, which would affect about one-point-two-million electric customers across the state. It would be the state's biggest rate hike ever if approved.
