Archdiocese Official To Control What Task Force Sees

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The information available to a task force conducting an investigation of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis will be controlled by a top church official. A letter sent to priests last week indicates all materials will go through Reverend Reginald Whitt. He has also been assigned the task of appointing the task force, which will look into claims of sex abuse by clergy members. Attorney Jeff Anderson has represented victims of abuse by Catholic priests and tells WCCO-TV it's "more of the same; secrecy on secrecy."
