(Minneapolis, MN) -- The beer is flowing at Freehouse Brewery in Minneapolis after being delayed by the partial federal government shutdown. U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar stepped in to help owners get their brewery permit from the Treasury Department after the shutdown had put it on the back burner. Roughly 150 jobs have been created by the brewery, which held a grand opening celebration in Minneapolis on Saturday. The brewpub in the 700 block of Washington Avenue North will be serving breakfast with beer starting today.
