Spring has a way of showing up all at once.

Last weekend, our home was filled with the kind of energy that only comes from young dreams taking center stage. My aspiring actress wrapped a run of four packed-out performances of Annie—and I’ll tell you, there’s nothing quite like watching your kid step into the spotlight and own it. The applause, the nerves, the joy—it all reminds you that life moves fast, and these moments matter.

And speaking of stepping into something bigger…

In this week’s issue of That Passport Life, we continue our journey through Revolutionary Destinations with a stop in one of my favorite colonial settings: Williamsburg, Virginia. There’s something uniquely special about Williamsburg. It’s not just history you read about—it’s history you walk through.
