What happens when it comes to technology is that we assume that everything that came before we were born was the natural order of things. So of course, a hymn book is technology, and an organ is technology. So, when we're talking about technology in the worship service, we're generally talking about new technology - digital technology. So you know there is a big difference between singing out of a hymn book and singing off a screen.
