When Jesus Marvels – Beloved Women – December 5, 2025

READ: ��When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.” (Matthew 8:10 ESV)

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT: Jesus marveled because of the faith of the Roman officer. I love the description of the officer to admit how he was not worthy to have Jesus come into his home to heal his young servant but he knew, by faith, that all Jesus had to do was speak a word. This officer was a man of authority who understood the power of words. He knew that if he spoke a word to his soldiers, that they obeyed. So through this, he knew the power of Jesus, that if He wanted to heal this servant, He could do so right where He was.

The fact that his faith made Jesus marvel gives me chills. I want to raise my faith at a level that makes Jesus marvel. I want Him to be amazed at what I believe Him to do in my life and the lives of others. I want Him to be so astonished at my faith, where He meets me in the midst of my situations. I want Him to be so proud of his daughters that He marvels at our faith because we are women ready to populate His kingdom.

PRAY: Father, I thank you for this example You have left for us, as we have the choice to cause You to marvel at our faith. I know that You can do exceedingly and abundantly all we can ask and imagine and I ask that You raise our faith to experience You in a new way. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
