Grace Graber is back with original song “Jericho,” a pull-no-punches declaration of confident identity co-written with Josiah Prince (Disciple).

“It’s my confident anthem, a response to the Enemy,” Grace explains. “It’s saying, this is my thing. You can hate it if you want to. You can walk around my dreams like Jericho, but they're not going to fall. This is my authority and empowerment song where I name that there's been a ton that’s come against me. Sometimes, it feels like every day something is coming against me: a trial, or something I have to learn. But with ‘Jericho,’ I’m saying this can come against me, but I'm going to get up anyways. I'll fall, I'll trip, but at the end of the day, I'm always going to get up. I'm always going to try again.”

Grace Graber and Josiah Prince wrote the song together a few years ago, when Grace was still deep in the grind of establishing an unshakable sense of identity in her artistry and her calling. The breakthrough sense of spiritual authority found in “Jericho” is the place from which Grace has seen a breathtaking rise in her music and ministry, through original songs and her viral PUNK X PRAISE collection. She now also hosts a podcast about mental health with K-LOVE, and her punk cover of Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude” spent months in the top 25 at CHR radio.

But that kind of rise only happens through first being grounded in the fierce determination that “Jericho” represents. That true sense of calling has drawn collaborators and listeners alongside Grace Graber, their lives shaped by her own radical commitment to her identity in Christ.

Andrew Kojo mixed and mastered the song, which is the first taste of new original music from Grace following PUNK X PRAISE. More new music are due by the end of the year as the songstress takes on bigger and bigger stages, including a recent appearance at Uprise Festival.

Her unparalleled commitment to who she knows she was meant to be continues to drive all of it forward, fueled by a growing army of people who can’t help but pay attention.

“‘Jericho’ is part of my coming of age story,” Grace reflects. “It’s hard when you're always the one trying to figure things out alone, over and over and over again, which is why it's a relief when people are on your team and do help. So this is my confidence anthem. I hope that anyone who listens to it can claim it as their confidence anthem too, to stand strong in who they were created to be.”

“Jericho” is available now on all major streaming platforms. For more from Grace Graber, be sure you’re keeping up with all her ventures at https://linktr.ee/gracegrabermusic.
