The student government of the notoriously far left University of California Berkeley voted to financially fund the migrant caravan on Wednesday night.

Breitbart reports the student senate voted for “financially contributing to [migrants’] legal fees and health services” by immediately giving $1,500 to a student group called Central Americans For Empowerment (CAFE) who, in turn will give those funds to an advocacy group for illegal immigration called “Freedom for Immigrants.”

Students erroneously claimed that President Trump has “closed all entry ports between Mexico and the United States to make a nationalist statement of power,” before passing the resolution.

Another student claimed that voting “no” on the resolution would perpetuate violence.
