Brad Carlson

Despite broadcasting on a predominantly political station, Brad's show can best be described as "eclectic." With a passion for politics as well as issues involving faith, sports and culture, you can count on Brad having strong opinions on any stories where those areas intersect. And the wide array of on air guests include political insiders, elected officials, authors and newsmakers.
So come for the passionate opinions and insights, stay for the eclectic taste in bumper music where Brad employs the same theme each week when compiling his song selection (only two people have ever correctly guessed said theme). For instance, it's not all that unusual to have LL Cool J, Foo Fighters, and The Allman Brothers Band in the same rotation.

Bio
Despite graduating with an Accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1992, Brad always kept alive his dream of hosting a radio show, a dream which was fostered by discovering Rush Limbaugh in late 1991. He became a prolific commentator on politics in 2004 with the launching of his personal blog at BradCarlson.org. This resulted in his meeting members of the Northern Alliance Radio Network, which also debuted in '04. After becoming a regular fill-in host on AM 1280 The Patriot in 2010, Brad was brought on as a weekly host Sundays 1-3 PM Central Time. While the vast majority of his show consists of political content, Brad's favorite topics are those where politics, faith and culture intersect.
Brad has been married to wife Jennifer since 2000, and they currently live in Ramsey, MN with their plethora of pets.
