About Dmitry Lipinskiy
Dmitry Lipinskiy is a former contractor turned media entrepreneur and homeowners' advocate. Originally from Russia, Dmitry stumbled into the trades after moving to the U.S. with a teaching degree. He then spent the next two decades building a successful flooring business in Atlanta and, later, Storm Group Roofing in Minneapolis. In 2020, he sold his company to focus on industry education and innovation. Today, Dmitry is the founder of Roofing Insights, a popular YouTube channel, and the CEO of Directorii, a platform connecting homeowners with vetted contractors. With a teacher’s heart and a reputation for “real talk,” Dmitry has won the respect of many–both in & outside the home improvement industry.
