Greetings my fellow travel enthusiast! As you know, I travel a lot for my show Beyond Your Backyard and a lot of my time is spent in the city in the sky. I’m talking about flying in an airplane. Sure, you might think Mr. Bigshot flies private, but you would be wrong. I fly on all the commercial airlines domestic and international. And here’s a tip I hope you will take seriously. When I am seated on a plane, I always wear my seatbelt. Anytime a pilot is seated, he or she is wearing a seatbelt. Unexpected turbulence is rare but it is real. Even at “cruising altitude” when they turn off the seatbelt sign, I still keep mine on whenever I am seated. So the next time you are on a flight, please wear your seatbelt the whole time.
