After three months away following a fall, hospitalization, and rehabilitation, 84-year-old Mitch McConnell has returned to the Senate. His return raises questions about how much he can realistically participate in the demanding work of the Senate during the final months of his term, and whether simply being present is enough to fulfill the responsibilities of the job.
